Maria is a happily reformed couch potato based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. She started this blog to document her journey from Achilles tendon injuries in 2020 to her moonshot goal of finishing an ultramarathon (!). Her occupation is freelance writer/junior doctor. Her pre-occupations include: coffee; The Office; growing fruit in suburban environments; and arguing with her boyfriend about why they should get a dog.
